Friday May 22 - Art Fur Animals The Galleria at Erieview 6-10 pm Live “Pupeye the Sailor Mutt” is one of the many custom designed ceramic dogs that will be auctioned at Art Fur Animals benefit for homeless, neglected , abused animals in Cleveland sponsored by Friends of the Cleveland Kennel. "Pupeye the Sailor Mutt" uses nautical signal flags to spell out a message and comes with a 20 second digital recording of the Popeye cartoon theme song. I also included the signal flag alphabet so everyone can decode the message.

      I will be coaching several artist apprentices in developing individual artistic talents and we will coordinate a COMMUNITY MURAL - for the public to paint and sign a pre-drawn large canvas that will be displayed at the Cleveland Institute of Art.

ArtWorks is the only arts-based job training program for Northeast Ohio high school students that is designed to provide training in the arts while developing skills for the workplace. For several weeks each summer, ArtWorks apprentices create visual and performing art and learn workforce skills.
